Former Governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu met with president Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday night over his plans to contest for the nation’s top seat in 2023.
Kalu, the current chief whip of the senate, disclosed that the President was in high spirits and welcomed him well.
He wrote; “Tonight, I paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit to discuss major national issues and I am very satisfied with our discussion. I left him at 10pm and in good health . We look forward to a better Nigeria.”
Orji’s is coming about a week after the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the President to seek his blessing to contest for President in 2023.
Tinubu declared that he will be throwing his hat into the ring.
