The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed that it has commenced the extradition process of Benjamin Nnanyereugo, who Sierra Leonian authorities have arrested following complaints that he killed his late girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.

Nnanyereugo, an Instagram influencer, is popularly called ‘KillaBoi’ on social media.

Hundeyin revealed this on Saturday in an exclusive telephone interview with Punch.

His words: “We have commenced the extradition process to bring KillaBoi into custody in Nigeria.”

On Friday, the suspect was nabbed at a nightclub in Free Town, the country’s capital, after changing his name to Kanu Princeton Samuel, spending over $25,000 purchasing a Sierra Leonean passport.

Meanwhile, his photo had been posted on social media by the deceased’s family, leading a Sierra Leonean who identified him to contact famous human rights lawyer Femi Falana SAN, who informed the Lagos Police Command that had earlier declared him wanted.
