A popular On-Air-Personality, OAP, at 95.5 Royal FM, Bayelsa, Samuel Barida, has been found dead in his residence.
Daily Independent reports that the lifeless body of the popular OAP was found in his residence on Monday, October 16.
Barida died in his apartment within the station’s staff quarters in Agudama-Epie, Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State.
According to the radio station’s management in a statement issued on Tuesday, Barida’s body has been taken to the mortuary at the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa.
The untimely death of Barida, who was a familiar voice on the airwaves, is said to have sent shock waves across the state.
