A gang of hoodlums attacked the Convoy of Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola on Saturday while he was speaking to #EndSARS Protesters, POLITICS NIGERIA has learned.
Trouble started shortly after the Governor tried to address the angry protesters in Osogbo when several thugs suddenly started vandalising vehicles in Mr. Oyetola’s convoy causing his aides to speedily rush him to safety.
Confirming the incident, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Mabel Aderonke, confirmed the attack while sharing photos of the vandalised vehicles.
“There was a scary attempt on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s life by armed thugs on Saturday in Osogbo,” @MabelAderonkeN tweeted.
