The Zamfara State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Sokoto has affirmed the election of Dauada Lawal as the governor of the state.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the judgement took place on Monday.
Lawal emerged victorious in the March 2023 governorship election by defeating the then incumbent Governor, Mohammed Matawalle with a wide margin.
