The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Birnin Kebbi has upheld the election of Gov. Nasir Idris as duly elected governor of Kebbi.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the tribunal, led by Justice Ofem I. Ofem, announced its verdict on Thursday.
Recall that on Thursday last week, concluded the hearing of a petition filed by Aminu Bande and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Bande and the PDP had challenged the victory of Idris, his deputy, Abubakar Umar Tafida, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 governorship election.
