Unknown gunmen launched an attack in Anambra on Sunday and killing three policemen while two others sustained gunshot injuries.
The incident occurred at Ukaegbu junction, Ezeiweka road, Awada Obosi near Onitsha.
The attackers also set ablaze a police patrol van.
The van is still on fire while residents of the area are presently in panic mode as sporadic gunshots are being fired.

Since we have seen that Nigeria is not working ànd is not likely to develop with the current arrangement of thirty- six (36) States and six geopolitical zones, it will good we go back to the independence and republican arrangements of the 1960s.
Nigeria missed the road with the creation of states and by destroying fiscal federalism. States now depend on the centre with its low level of literacy. Yes state governors have been more educated than the presidents at the centre. If in doubt , take roll call of rulers at the centre visa-vis the states.
