Some unknown Gunmen unleashing terror on southeast communities have reportedly killed two members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the Ebonyi State.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that the attack occurred in a community in Izzi Local Government Area (LGA) on Friday evening.
This newspaper gathered that two assailants on motorcycles stormed the venue of the APC meeting and gunned down the party members.
They quickly zoomed off after their dastardly act.
Apart from the two fatalities, sources said two other persons sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, the state capital.
When contacted, the Police spokesperson in Ebonyi State, Chris Anyanwu, said: “I don’t know about that.”
