[BREAKING]Kaduna LG Poll: PDP defeats Gov. El-rufai in his Polling Unit

The Governor of Kaduna state has lost his polling unit in the just-concluded local government elections, POLITICS NIGERIA has learned.

El-rufai lost his 01 Polling Unit at Ungwan Sarki in Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state.

Presiding officer, Sani Muhammadu, announced that out of 159 total votes cast, the PDP garnered 86 votes against the APC’s 62 votes for the chairmanship position.

Also in the Councillorship results, PDP garnered 100 votes while the APC got 53 votes.

The governor had earlier lamented over Voter Apathy as the turnout for the elections were low. He also expressed that he was not interested in cheating or rigging the electoral exercise.

This newspaper also learned that the State Electoral Commission had to suspend the exercise in four local government Areas due to insecurity. The LGAs are Zango-Kataf, Birnin-Gwari, Kajuru and Chikun.

  1. With this result I think APC should start packing her properties ready to leave ASO ROCK because they have failed Nigerians.

  2. Open All, we still expect APC to win Kaduna local government chairmenship elections. And this is the difference between APC and PDP, if it’s PDP in power it should not even indulge for the election to carry out, or even if much pressure have mounted on for the election to be conducted, surely they should not let it happened inrelation to the interest of the masses. They always believed to be in power. Example Bauchi State under Sanator Bala Mohammed Qauran Bauchi, and Jigawa State during Sule Lamido former governor.
