Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Tuesday, stormed the headquarters of Caverton Helicopters in Port-Harcourt over violation of a lockdown order issued by the state government.
Wike led security operatives to effect some arrests over the violation of movement restriction put in place to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
The visibly angry governor demanded that Caverton’s pilots be interrogated on why they flew passengers into the state.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that Caverton reportedly flew in passengers into the state despite the restriction of movement/border shutdown by the Wike-led government.
