Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, the wife of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has announced that she has tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19).
She made this known in a tweet on Twitter page on Monday.
Politics Nigeria had reported that governor El-Rufai on Saturday confirmed that he tested positive to the virus.
According to the governor, he is not showing any symptoms and he has already gone into self-isolation.
However, the governor’s wife thanked everyone who wished her and prayed for her family.
Mrs El-Rufai urged Nigerians to stay at home and be safe, adding that they should always wash their hands.
She wrote, “Dear Tweeps, My COVID-ONE-NINE test result is out. I’m NEGATIVE.
