The deposed Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi has welcomed a baby girl with his fourth wife, Saadatu Barkindo Mustapha. POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the former emir’s wife gave birth last week.
Recall that Sanusi married Saadatu, an indigene of Adamawa state, in September 2015 when she was 18-year-old.
Sanusi has three other wives, namely (first wife) Sadiya, daughter of the late Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, Maryam and Rukayya. Which makes Saadatu Barkindo the fourth wife.
The news of the baby’s birth was confirmed on May 5 by a Twitter user who is said to be close to the family.
She wrote: “Our Princess is here.
Mai Martaba Malam Muhammad Sanusi II Ya Samu karuwar ‘Ya Mace. Allah ya Raya Allah Yai Mata Albarka.”
