The Nigerian Army has denied its involvement in the shooting and killing of unarmed #ENDSARS Protesters at the popular Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos on Tuesday.
POLITICS NIGERIA had reported that security forces shot at the protesters at the venue of the protest after a 24-hour curfew was imposed by the Lagos State Government.
It was gathered that armed security agents moved in with Armored vehicles unleashing terror on the protesters killing several while others suffered varying degrees of injury.
Dispelling reports by Saharareporters, the Nigerian army denied shooting at the #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate. The security forces also denied seizing the corpses of the protesters that died during the shooting.
The Nigerian Army said it had no hand in what appeared to be premeditated murder. It also disclosed that no soldiers were at the scene of the protest.
