Senator Dino Melaye, Spokesperson, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Committee, on Thursday criticised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for uploading the results of the presidential election after announcing Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 election.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was on Wednesday declared the winner of the fiercely-contested presidential election but many, including opposition parties, have claimed the poll was rigged and a sham.
They have called for the election to be cancelled, alleging breaches of the Electoral Act and possible collusion by INEC to doctor the result in Tinubu’s favour.
The allegations have been denied by INEC and Tinubu’s party, the ruling APC.
At the heart of the dispute is the newly introduced electronic voting system, known as BVAS, which was supposed to make the manipulation of results more difficult and the polls more transparent.
The widespread inability of electoral staff to upload results from polling units to INEC’s server helped fuel allegations of a conspiracy.

But Dino Melaye should know that party agents have copies of all the results signed by the presiding officers and also signed by parties’ agents.So, I don’t see any problem with the results not being uploaded and transmitted since the agents have the results. However, what I see in the last election is a case of three tricksters being outsmarted by the smartest
