JUST IN: Anambra Guber candidate, Soludo finally casts vote [PHOTO]

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Governorship Candidate in Anambra State, Charles Soludo, has eventually casted his vote after hours of Biometric Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) delay.

He voted around 5:08pm.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that Soludo had described the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC’s) BVAS as a complete failure.

Soludo, like other governorship candidates in Anambra State, was greeted with disappointment when he arrived at his polling unit in PU Isuofia, Aguata LGA to cast his vote on Saturday afternoon.

Since the opening of the poll at 002, Ward, Ofiyi Square, where the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) boss was to cast his vote, the BVAS had been epileptic and inconsistent, thereby contributing to the growing concerns of the waiting electorates.

Soludo arrived at his PU at exactly 12:12pm but was unable to cast his vote after several minutes of frantic efforts by the electoral body’s technician to restore the system to enable the electorates, many who were already growing tired, to exercise their franchise.
