[JUST IN] Bamise: BRT suspends operations

The various Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) terminals across Lagos State were without vehicles on Tuesday morning.

It was gathered that all BRT operations have been halted following the murder of Bamise Ayanwole.

POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that 22-year-old Ayanwole was abducted and gruesomely murdered after boarding a BRT last Friday.

It is understood that the decision by the management of Primero Transport Services, operators of Blue BRT buses, is temporary.

Meanwhile, fresh information on Tuesday morning showed that the police in Lagos were in possession of late Ayanwole’s body since Sunday and took her to a morgue, but refused to provide information until the family became aware on Monday.

It is also being alleged that the same bus the deceased was last seen in, worked for days after the incident.

The driver of the bus, Andrew Nice, is presently in police custody.

  1. THE MOST EXPEDIENT THING TO DO WAS THE STEP TAKEN BY LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT TO PUT THE BRT OPERATIONS ON HOLD, UNTIL CERTIFIED AND SATISFIED FIT AND SAFE FOR FURTHER BUSINESS.

This incident may not have been the very first. Suspected to have been an ongoing business before nemesis caught up with the operators. They have been using government facility for nefarious activities which includes harvesting human body parts for rituals, unknown to government.
Events have however overtaken this report, since the state police have given update on the murder of Bamise. A pretty girl caught down in her prime. A very sad occurrence, indeed.

The Lagos state police command in company of the family was reported to have visited the morgue where her corpse was deposited and revealed that she was intact, no body part was missing. It was also not gruesome as reported, she was not decimated. Although, the visit also indicated there would still be an autopsy to further ascertain the true nature of her components.

THIS IS VERY SAD. PRAY THE GOOD LORD CONSOLE HER FAMILY ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO BEAR THIS IRREPARABLE LOSS. SAD, INDEED.
I still cannot fathom how we got here. This is chilling and frightening. The wasting of a gentle helpless soul.
