Notorious billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, was re-arraigned on Thursday, January 30, 2025, before an Ikeja High Court over the murder of two police officers.
Evans, alongside his co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, also faced charges of attempted kidnapping of Chief Obianodo Vincent, the owner of Young Shall Grow Transport Company.
Both defendants were arraigned before Justice Adenike Coker on a five-count charge of murder and attempted kidnapping.
According to The Nation, they pleaded not guilty to the charges.
