JUST IN: Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Gambari reacts to Aso-Rock Robbery


Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Agboola Ibrahim Gambari has called on Nigerians not to worry over a robbery incident that occurred in the Presidential Villa on Sunday, May 9th.

The Presidential Villa was attacked by armed robbers who tried to break into the residence of Mr. Gambari and another presidential aide, Mr. Abubakar Maikano.

In a statement on Monday night, Presidential Spokesperson, Garba Shehu disclosed that the COS stated that there was nothing to worry about. “The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00am this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.”

“Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident.” Shehu tweeted.
