The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru El-Rufai has travelled to Awe in Nasarawa State to visit the dethroned emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.
POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported how Mr El-Rufai, within two days after the dethronement, gave Sanusi two appointments.
The Kaduna Governor made Mr Sanusi a board member of KADIPA, its investment promotion agency and the Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU).
Although our correspondent could not immediately confirm the visit, Daily Trust, an online newspaper quoted security sources that the Governor left Kaduna with.
