Nigeria’s Former President, Goodluck Jonathan was on Thursday officially inaugurated as the Chancellor of a Ugandan university.
Cavendish University installed Jonathan as its Chancellor in an elaborate ceremony on Thursday afternoon.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that the appointment makes Jonathan the third chancellor of the university since its establishment.
The late Kenneth Kaunda, former president of the Republic of Zambia, was the pioneer chancellor, and Benjamin Mkapa, the late president of the United Republic of Tanzania, the second chancellor.
