Former Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Ghali Na’abba is not dead.
Na’abba is alive but reportedly stuck abroad due to the Coronavirus lockdown. Rumours of his death trended on social media after Sun newspaper reported it in a post that it has now deleted.
Ghali Na’abba served under the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo as speaker of the house of reps. N’abba was born on September 27, 1958. He is a political scientist with a Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also attended Jakara primary school and Rumfa college, both in Kano state.
He is an astute businessman with interests in importation, manufacturing and publishing. He worked as secretary of the Na’Abba Commercial Trading Company Limited before becoming the Managing Director of Manifold Limited then became Director, Quick Prints Limited and the Managing Director, Hinterland Resources Limited.
