President Bola Tinubu is meeting with a faction of aggrieved politicians from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), popularly referred to as the G5 or the Integrity Group.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the meeting is at the Aso Rock Villa.
Among the notable attendees is Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, accompanied by former Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State. Additionally, the current Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, was also observed among the participants.
A video capturing the entrance of these politicians to the Villa reveals the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, confidently leading his fellow group members.
Wike, in a suit, exuded a sense of assurance during their arrival.
This newspaper reports that the politicians arrived at the State House about 4:21 pm and proceeded straight to the President office.
