Many families have become homeless following pipeline explosion in some parts of Abule ado in Amuwo-Odofin local government area, Lagos.
POLITICS NIGERIA understands that the incident occurred around 8 am on Sunday morning. It’s currently unclear what caused the pipeline explosion in Abule Ado but there are suspicions that it may be a result of vandalisation.
This newspaper gathered that many Christians in church for Sunday worship in the area have taken to their heels for survival.
According to an official of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), a pipeline exploded.
Also, the Federal Fire Service tweeted that its men are making efforts to get information on the incident.
“We are in touch with our men in Fire Stations around Badagry and Festac, we are trying to gather more information as regards the reported explosion in Lagos State, Nigeria. We are on it,” the service tweeted.
