Nigerian Table Tennis star, Funke Oshonaike, on Wednesday thanked God for saving her, following a ghastly car accident she had earlier this week, which landed her in the hospital.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Germany-based Oshonaike said although she is still traumatised by the occurrence, she cannot thank God enough for surviving the crash.
Oshonaike started her playing career in Shomolu, Lagos State, South-West region of Nigeria in the early 1980s while very young.
She made history last year after becoming the first African woman to play in seven Olympics and the first woman to join the exclusive International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) ‘Club of 7’ of players to have competed at seven Olympic Games.
