The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has shut down the state house of Assembly for ‘renovations’.
The closure is coming a day after the deputy speaker of the House of Assembly, Yekini Idiaye was impeached shortly after declaring support for the candidate of the APC, Osagie Ize-Iyamu. Idaiye was removed by seven pro-Governor Godwin Obaseki lawmakers.
