Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), secured 33 votes at his polling unit while one of his major opponents in the 2023 election, Peter Obi of the Labour Party garnered eight votes.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that out of the 324 registered voters, only 43 voters were accredited.
Of the 43 accredited voters, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled a single vote.
The electoral officer of the Ward C Polling Unit 085 in Ikeja, Lagos State, declared the result at the end of voting at exactly 2:45 pm.
Earlier, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) visited Tinubu’s polling unit but did not interrupt the voting process.
Tinubu, 70, is a two-term governor of Lagos State and a former Senator. He is a former National Leader of the APC, who is running for the presidency for the first time.
