Amara Kennedy, a businessman based in Lagos, has been arrested for circulating explicit photographs of single mothers.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the arrest was confirmed by one of the victims, Kester, who confided with The PUNCH on Friday.
Previously, Kennedy had gone into hiding following the spread of the images, which depicted two single mothers with whom he had been involved in past relationships.
He expressed his intention to cooperate with the police once media coverage of the incident subsides.
The 44-year-old entrepreneur is from the Umunze community in Anambra State, and has expressed his willingness to reconcile with his victims, provided he receives assurances that the police will refrain from intervening in the case.
