JUST IN: Popular Nigerian filmmaker is dead

Nigerian filmmaker and former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, Frank Igho Okpokoro Vaughan, is dead.

Vaughan, who hails from Delta State, reportedly died in Warri on Tuesday after a protracted battle with an undisclosed illness.

His younger brother, Philip Okpokoro, a cinematographer and director of ‘Nigerian Idols’ reality TV show, confirmed the news to reporters.

Vaughan was a seasoned TV producer/director, current affairs, and political analyst.

Before he died, Vaughan, who was in his 60s, was a pastor with Dominion City Church, Asaba, Delta State.
