Justice Tanko Mohammed has been sworn-in as the substantive chief justice of Nigeria, CJN by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Justice Mohammed was sworn-in on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa. He is now the 18th Chief Justice of Nigeria. He was screened and cleared by the Senate last week.
He rose to the position of CJN after Buhari suspended the Walter Onnoghen over alleged irregularities in the declaration of his assets.
