The Presidential Candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi has made promises to Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers, to support his bid for the presidency.
On Thursday, during the commissioning of the Nkpolu Oroworukwo flyover in Port Harcourt, the Rivers capital, Obi said he would make Rivers State better if elected as President in 2023.
“I will talk to my people and we will negotiate. If we leave the state for him (referring to Wike), he will leave the federal for us. We will negotiate it. We know you’re in charge,” Obi said.
“We will not quarrel with you. Anybody who quarrels with you doesn’t know what he is doing. I will not try it. I’m begging. Please give us this one and take the other one. We will leave for you. I will accommodate them in the other one.”
“I assure you of our commitment to build a better Nigeria. Our past will not be our future. I and Datti represent the future of Nigeria. I have told Nigerians to hold me responsible. I will not give excuse. I know the problems of Nigeria.”
He commended Wike for his performance in Rivers state as Governor.

Obi is begging just the way he begged in 2006 only to become a dictator in Anambra state, where Anambra’s stakeholders begged him severally to pay, ANSEPA, and Anambra state water corporation staff salary for 8 years which he never paid until Willie Obiano was forced to pay through court ruling.
Anambra’s doctors were on strike for 13 months when he refused to pay the medical minimum wages the doctors demanded

Yes Obi my brother, you have seen what Nwike is doing in River State. Please can someone list out what Obi has done in Anambra State when he was the governor. Both in inferstructures and investments. Too for me anyone, who is a betrayer I meant jumping from one faith call it party to other is not fit to be a leader. He betrayed APGA that made him to become governor for 8 year, PDP where he contested as VP. such person is pursing personal Agendas. Any way good luck to him in his selfish bide.
