The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has reacted to a recent comment by Kano state Governor and Chairman of the APC Edo Campaign Council, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Ganduje, while addressing the press on Monday, disclosed that Wike, who is the chairman of the PDP Edo campaign council, will be ‘Isolated’ from participating in the upcoming Edo Elections.
Wike, on Tuesday, revealed that the ruling party was planning to use Security agents to ‘rig’ the Elections.
Speaking during the inauguration of the PDP campaign council, Wike boasted that the Kano State Governor was not his match saying;
“Between me and a man who has been caught pocketing dollars, who deserves to be isolated?”.
The Edo state Gubernatorial elections are scheduled to hold on September 19th where current state governor, Godwin Obaseki will be squaring off against his main rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.
