“N81bn theft at NDDC is nothing” – Asari Dokubo speaks on probe

Ex-militant leader, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, has commented on the probe into the activities of the interim management committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

In a video seen by POLITICS NIGERIA, Dokubo said the alleged mismanagement of N81 billion by the NDDC management is a small crime compared to other alleged stolen public funds in Nigeria. He said the case is like that of a man calling the police to report a pickpocketing case he witnessed while armed robbers are breaking into his house.

“We are talking about N81 billion being pick-pocketed from Niger Delta while the bulk of our money, our resources is being carted away and we are not talking,” Dokubo said.

“They want me to run after pickpocketers and leave armed robbers that are coming into my house. When they talk about Akpabio, tell them about Malami, when they talk about Joy, tell them about Sadiya, when they talk about any senator, tell them about Magu.”

  1. When shall all this drama stopped in Nigeria? We are tired being played out of our intelligence. She shall we actualize our dream for better Nigeria, today, tomorrow, when? Corruption is really aggravating than ever was with the one time ruling party PDP.

Corruption is increasingly getting worse than ever was with the one time ruling party PDP. And however, this, present government of Muhammadu Buhari came on board with the mind to shun corruption but in vain.
