NCAA Lifts Suspension on United Nigeria Airline’s Wet-Leased Aircraft

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has lifted the suspension placed on a wet-leased Airbus aircraft operated by United Nigeria Airlines.

The move comes after an investigation into the temporary diversion of flight NUA 0504 from its intended destination of Abuja to Asaba.

Recall that the aircraft was last week suspended following the incident.

However, a letter signed by the NCAA’s Director of Licensing and Training, Captain Ibrahim Danbazzau, and addressed to the airline’s Managing Director, has outlined the findings of the investigation and recommended specific actions for United Nigeria Airlines to take.

The letter confirmed that the suspension has been lifted.
