Nigeria records 14 new cases of COVID-19 After Buhari’s Broadcast (BREAKDOWN)

The government of Nigeria has confirmed fourteen news of cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the number of cases in the country to 111.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement on its Twitter handle on Sunday.

The health agency said out of the 14 new cases, nine were recorded in Lagos, while five were confirmed in Abuja.

It added that as at 09:30 pm 29th March there are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death

The tweet read: “Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos and 5 in FCT

“As at 09:30 pm 29th March, there are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”

The NCDC had put the national figure of the deadly virus at 97 on Saturday. The addition of 14 new cases spiked it up to 111.
