Nigerian Army troops of 402 special forces brigade in Sambisa forest at the weekend discovered a huge fertilizer dump being used by Boko Haram/IS-West Africa Province (ISWAP) to make Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) being planted along Damboa-Biu road, Borno state.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Special Forces led by Major Bukar Dabo, of the 402 special forces brigade, also destroyed Boko Haram/ISWAP homes, after they fled following massive raid by troops of Operation Desert Sanity.

The troops also discovered some weapons hidden under trees by the fleeing terrorists in the bushes of Buk village, Sambisa.

Sambisa forest is in the southwestern part of Chad Basin National Park, about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.

The forest, especially the mountainous region of Gwoza near the Cameroon border, is used as shelter by the jihadist Boko Haram group and is believed to be where they keep the hostages from the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping in April 2014.

Between 19-20 May 2021, the forest was captured by ISWAP after fierce fighting between ISWAP and Boko Haram.

If the true welfare essence is extended to hospitality in security of both indigene and non indigens ( good living) which is of good mental, social and economic development of our country, then let president Buari and his governors begin the good work of good leadership as expected without reservation, thank you.
