Nnamdi Kanu is a terrorist, can only be compared with Shekau – Adamu Garba

Adamu Garba, a 2023 presidential aspirant on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has described the detained leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), as “a terrorist” who ‘can only be compared to the late leader of the outlawed Boko Haram group, Abubakar Shekau.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that although Kanu’s IPOB group has been tagged a terrorist organisation by the Federal Government since 2017, the separatist leader’s lawyers are challenging the decision at the Court of Appeal, Abuja.

“I don’t know why some of you think I’m comparing Nnamdi Kanu and Abba Kyari, I am not Abba Kyari is arrested for a drug-related offense, an extremely high crime, while Nnamdi Kanu is a terrorist, the highest possible criminal known to humans.

“You can only compare Kanu with Shekau,” Garba wrote on his verified Twitter handle recently.

  1. If Kanu can be compared to Shekau of the Boko Haram, show us photos of Kanu with weapons in hand; Show us pictures of Kanu in the battle field; show us the devastation caused by Kanu…. Your hate for people outside the Fulani tribe knows no bounds and might joke life out of you before your time. The end has come for business as usual especially as those of us from the Middle Belt call it quits with the Fulani North. Peace.

  2. I think this is where we are getting it wrong as a nation and as a Government.
You don’t have any right to call a suspect a crime or names until proven so by the Apex Court or any court. It is against the rule of law and I will not supprot the approach to Garba Adamu as this man in question as being discharged and acquired even though DSS has refused to accept the view of the case.
You don’t go about calling people names.
This is can actually be used against the Federal Government in all court as that equal to assault of personality as far as anyone is concerned.
You gave case in court and he defended it well and won.
Anything outside the court is not acceptable I must say.
Yes, you called him a terrorist what are the things that man a terrorist.
Gun, or any form of weapon like bomb and more.
Did you find such with him if yes, then he is guilty if not.
He is innocent and not guilty.
I understand the government was to punish him for many things he did to them.
You don’t implicate yourself in the process.
