An Assistant General Overseer (GO) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Professor Folagbade Aboaba is dead.
According to a statement by Prof Folarin Alonge, the National Chairman of the Nigeria Institute of Agricultural Engineers, sent to POLITICS NIGERIA on Monday, Aboaba passed away after a brief illness. He was aged 90.
This newspaper reports that late Aboaba was one of the closest allies of the General Overseer (GO) of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
The late scholar was one of the founding fathers of the Nigeria Institute of Agricultural Engineers.
“One of our Fathers in the profession, Prof. Fola Aboaba, has gone home. He was a Professor of Professors of Professors.
“May his soul find eternal rest in God,” Alonge’s statement partly reads.
