Peter Obi arrives Abidjan to support Super Eagles in AFCON quarterfinals clash against Angola

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last general election, was spotted in Abidjan, the capital of the Ivory Coast today.

Obi is in the West African country to support Nigeria’s Super Eagles in their quarter-final clash with Angola at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023.

The AFCON quarter-final match is a crucial encounter for the three-time champions.

LP chieftain and former governorship candidate in Anambra state, Valentine Ozigbo, accompanied Obi on the trip.

The duo were spotted in a photo with Confederations of African Football executive Amaju Pinnick.
