Popular movie actor, Idris Elba has tested positive for the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The British actor disclosed this via his official Twitter handle.
He tweeted: “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.
“Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic.”
Elba is the latest to join a growing list of A-list celebrities and public figures to be struck by the deadly virus. Idris posted a video of himself alongside his wife making the shocking revelation on Twitter.
He also advised his fans not to worry, admonishing them to be careful and effect good personal hygiene.
He explains that he got no symptoms but decided to get tested after he realized he had been in contact with someone who tested positive to the deadly virus.
