REVEALED: Fubara, Odili refused to sign Tinubu’s resolution on Rivers political crisis

A peace meeting convened at Aso Rock Villa involving Governor Siminalayi Fubara, alongside former Governor Peter Odili, failed to culminate in signing eight crucial resolutions President Bola Tinubu proposed.

The president’s proposal aimed to resolve the political crisis in the state between Governor Fubara’s camp and that of his successor and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.

Emerging details have revealed that Odili and Fubara rejected the resolutions.

The Special Adviser on Media to the Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Engr. Boma Precious Kalama denounced the circulated resolutions as false.

Urging Governor Fubara’s supporters to remain focused, Engr. Kalama dismissed the authenticity of the documents circulated on both traditional and social media platforms.

He said the sudden change in Fubara’s pen colour from his typical red to black, further exposed the purported agreement.

He wrote: “See eh! Desperation eh! Is a bad thing oh! So the president didn’t sign as a witness of the MOU reached? One of the big shoes who was present in the meeting, Dr Peter Odili, didn’t sign.

“Rt Hon Ehie Edison, Speaker didn’t sign to affirm that he agrees to the resolution reached?. The Governor, who uses red pen, all of a sudden, used a black pen. And when did Gov Sim talk about not doing LGA election?

“A democratically elected Governor should represent the budget to Non-As“embly members as said on the constitution. The signature of the governor is FAKE. Whosoever did, this Photoshop did a poor job and should be arrested and money returned.

“Dear Gov Sim Fubara’s supporters, do not buy this RUBBISH. I am telling you from a place of authority that this alternative toilet paper is FAKE, RUBBISH, and typed at UST back gate.”
