The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the governor of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
This is in reaction to Nigeria’s economic woes and the recently announced plans to redesign some denominations of the Nigerian currency by the CBN.
While addressing his congregation during a live service a few hours ago, Primate Ayodele revealed that changing the current will add no value to the country but will amount to a total waste of resources.
He made it known that the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele and his team are in serious confusion and should be relieved of their duties.
Primate Ayodele stated that the president has all the reasons to sack the CBN governor because he is clearly not performing, while noting that Nigeria cannot get out of these economic woes in the next six years.
‘’CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele should be sacked, he can’t give a solution to the economy of Nigeria. The country will have more economic hardship and our naira will further be devalued. He doesn’t have the idea of the economy, he is fed up already. We can’t come out of these woes for the next six years. Former president, Goodluck Jonathan sacked Sanusi as CBN governor when he wasn’t performing, what’s stopping the sack of Emefiele because he is clearly not performing.’’.
Continuing, Primate Ayodele explained that designing of the current doesn’t stop terrorism or insecurity. He added that those incharge should seek divine intervention because they are totally confused.
‘’The money design solves nothing in the economy, either you change it or not, it doesn’t stop terrorism, kidnapping, insecurity, it’s just mere waste of money. These people are not seeing anything, those incharge are confused, we need divine intervention so we can get result.’’
Furthermore, Primate Ayodele urged Nigerians to kick against every plan to drop BVAS in the coming general election because it is the only way to prevent rigging.
‘’Nigeria should protest if BVAS is nullified for the election, the only way to prevent rigging is by Using BVAS.’’

To Primate Ayodele; this is not prophecy, it is called interfering in mr presidents job. It is not in your job schedule to decide what makes economic sense or not so face your job and leave others to do theirs. If your financiers who have been looting the country dry have adviced you to go for Emefiele’s jugular them you and them have failed woefully. He won’t be sacked and in partnership with efcc and icpc they’ll fish out some of your patrons. If it’s true that 80% of our currencies are outside the banks then it’s the resilience of the economy that has sustained us. Many economies would crumble under such dubious scenarios. Emefiele stays and would be commended at the end of this exercise.
What does the primate know about the laws of Economics? He should stick to his church and spurious prophecies. Thank God for small mercies, Ayodele did not say God told him the change of our currency will cause us WAHALA!!!!
