In a new development, Seun Kuti’s manager, Ayo Moses, has shed more light on the events that made the singer assault a police officer.
Politics Nigeria reports that Moses claimed that the said police officer was actually the one guilty of provoking Seun into physically assaulting him.
The manager added that the police officer hit Seun’s car with his truck.
According to him, the incident affected the singer’s daughter, who went into shock.
The manager further alleged that the officer was drunk.
He said:
“On the said day, Seun was driving with his family on the third mainland bridge when he was suddenly hit from behind by a police truck being driven by an officer who was reportedly drunk.
“This act from the officer led Seun’s daughter into a sudden shock, as she was visibly shaken by the hit.
So, this made Seun pursue the truck, double-crossed it, and force it to a stop. When the police officer got down from the truck, instead of apologising, he was arguing with Seun, which provoked him to slap the officer.
People should realise that men in uniforms also provoke civilians. Immunity is no excuse for impunity.”
THERE COULD BE NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON FOR HIM TO HAVE SLAPPED THE OFFICER. TAKING THE LAW INTO HIS HANDS IS LAWLESSNESS AND NO EXCUSE FOR HIS LAWLESS ACT.
Two wrongs does not make any right, rather further makes it wrong.
THE MANAGER CLAIMED THE POLICE WAS DRUNK DURING THE ACT. THEREFORE, AN IMPAIRED FELLOW WAS CONFRONTED BY A SUPPOSED SANE UNIMPARED CHILDISH ACT.
A sane person who joined an impaired policeman in a public nuisance show must be deemed equally imbalanced.
Seun Kuti AND THE POLICE OFFICER ARE BOTH PUBLIC NUISANCE, WITH Seun’s CASE MORE DEBILITATING. THOUGH SEEMS JUST WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE IRRATIONALITY OF MENTAL DISORDER OF THE STATE OF MIND OF THE OFFENDER AGAINST THE STATE.
Seun Kuti has neither MORAL nor LEGAL right and or standing to slap assault and roughen anybody, let alone an officer of the state.
THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF SPINNING AND OR PEEVING THAT COULD EXPLAIN THIS AWAY.
An absolute LAWLESSNESS and NONSENSE.
