Shehu Sani mocks Buhari over cancellation of nationwide broadcast

Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari over the cancellation of Monday’s nationwide broadcast.

It was widely reported that President Muhammadu Buhari was to address the Nation on Monday evening but the broadcast was called off for unknown reasons.

The Special Adviser to Mr Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina in a post on Twitter said no national broadcast was planned.

Reacting to this, Shehu Sani took to Twitter to mock the Presidency over the latest decision. He argued that he dodged impending criticism by Nigerians.

He wrote: “Baba wanted to come out and talk to you, he peeped through the window, instead of each of you holding a notebook and a pen, you were holding stones, and he just went back to the living room. Return your stones from where you picked them.”
