Deji Adeyanju, a former Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday asked Nigerians to stop commenting on the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that critics have kicked against the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the Presidential and the Vice-Presidential candidates of the APC, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, in the 2023 general election.
According to them, the combinations lack equity, justice, and fairness. But Tinubu ignored the criticisms and officially announced Shettima as his running mate.
For Adeyanju, Convener of Concerned Nigerians, further discussions about the Muslim-Muslim ticket of Tinubu means ’more campaign for him up North’.
“People should stop talking about the Muslim-Muslim issue before some people think it’s a campaign against their religion. It’s enough. Point made already. The more we talk about it, the more campaign we are doing for Tinubu up North,” Adeyanju wrote on his known Twitter page.
