Some thugs on Friday invaded St. Bridget Catholic Church ljesha, Surulere in Lagos, and went away with machines of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) used for the ongoing Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) registration.

POLITICS NIGERIA learned that the Parish Priest of the church has locked up the church, as people scampered for safety.

The motive behind the lawless act by the thugs is not yet clear, but this newspaper gathered that they destroyed INEC materials and carted away some registration items.

Police have been mobilised to the area to maintain law and order.

  1. The interim report on the incident by the NPF runs contrary to this reportage. It was reported in another platform that the INEC personnel ended up in the wrong destination.

IT IS ALSO A COCK AND BULL STORY THAT INEC OFFICIALS DO NOT AND COULD NOT LOCATE THEIR DESTINATION FOR A CRUCIAL NATIONAL EXERCISE AND ENDED UP IN A CHURCH.

I have long asserted the fact that the CHURH has turned a political party and should register as such. Coupled with the fact that the church has now become culpable culprit in criminal activities against the state in anti-civic functions.

THE CHURCH HAS BEEN EXPOSED AND UNRAVELLED AS A PARTISAN POLITICAL ENTITY WITH INVOVEMENTS AS REPORTED HEREIN AND WITH OTHER SERIES OF PRONOUNCEMENTS WITH POLICAL LEANINGS.

The CHURCH through CAN should proceed to register as the 17th political party and participate in the coming presidential elections.

NIGERIANS AWAIT THE UNVEILING OF CAN AS THE 17TH POLITICAL PARTY IN THE CURRENT POLITIAL DISPENSATION.
