Former presidential media aide Pastor Reno Omokri has counselled Nigerians hoping President Bola Tinubu will solve the country’s power problem not to raise their expectations.
According to Omokri, no president can give Nigeria 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply.
Politics Nigeria reports that Omokri, who disclosed this on his Twitter page, insisted that only the private sector can do the job.
” No matter who won the #NigerianElections2023, no President can give Nigeria 24 hours of uninterrupted power because that is not a job for the government. Only the private sector can achieve that.”
Omokri lauded President Bola Tinubu’s first day in office in a related development.
He argued, unlike the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu swung into action immediately after being sworn in.
He tweeted:
“Tinubu, unlike Buhari, has hit the ground running. I sincerely pray that our petition will succeed and President Tinubu’s election will be nullified. But be that as it may, I must commend the actions of his first 24 hours in office.”
