‘You’re all Weak’ – IYC chairman attacks Wike, Obaseki, SS Govs over Buhari Snub [VIDEO]

The president of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, Comrade Peter Timothy Igbifa is currently trending on social media over his recent criticism of South-South Governors branding them as ‘Weak’.

Igbifa, during a South-South stakeholders meeting on Tuesday at the Rivers State Government house Port-harcourt, lampooned leaders from the region over an apparent snub by President Muhammadu Buhari.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that the presidency had fixed a meeting for Tuesday with the Governors and other leaders of the region to discuss burning national issues affecting the region and the aftermath effects of the EndSARS protest. The Federal Government delegation was supposed to include all the Ministers from the geopolitical zone and other persons. The delegation never showed up.

Shortly after, the governors organised a press conference demanding an apology from the Presidency. Speaking at the meeting, an annoyed Igbifa hit the governors saying in pidgin;

“This one don show una say una wey be our governors say all this play wey una dey play with this people, all those rough play don end. This laugh wey una dey laugh with presidency e don end. Na una be our problem”.

He went further; “See as una dey weak, just dey weak dey give Gambari. Gambari wey just take office a few days ago, just imagine. Some of una na product of struggle, wetin una dey do?”

“Gambari go just call una, cancel meeting. A whole governor of Delta State, wey if im dey march, youths of Niger Delta dey behind you, Gambari dey cancel your meeting wey you fix for south south”.
