2027 Election: Why Nigerians Must End APC — PDP Chieftain, Iroegbu

Dickson Iroegbu, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Obidient Movement, has urged Nigerians to take decisive political action against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Iroegbu made the call on Friday while speaking in an interview.
He warned that failure to remove the APC from power in 2027 could have grave consequences for the country, insisting that the ruling party poses a serious threat to Nigeria and its citizens.
Reacting to developments in Kano politics, Iroegbu accused the APC of lacking a clear agenda for the welfare of Nigerians. He alleged that the party is focused on consolidating elite interests at the expense of the general population.
According to him, the 2027 elections will mark a turning point, as Nigerians push back against political elites whom he accused of driving millions into poverty.
“Kano is my state of birth, and I understand how politics works in Northern Nigeria,” he said.
“The APC has pushed about 50 million Nigerians into extreme poverty since assuming power. They are standing on a collapsing mandate.
“We must converge, realign, and unite against a common enemy. As late former President Muhammadu Buhari once said, if we do not kill corruption, corruption will kill us.
“In the same vein, if we do not end the APC in 2027, the APC may end Nigeria and its people,” Iroegbu stated.
