Sowore Unveils New App Ahead of 2027 Election

The presidential campaign of the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has unveiled SoworeNow, an official mobile application designed to mobilise supporters ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Sowore announced the launch in a video shared on his verified Instagram account on Thursday, describing the platform as a tool to drive citizen participation in the campaign.

Addressing supporters, he said, “Fellow Nigerians, real change begins with action, and action begins with you.

“That is why we launched the SoworeNow app. With this app, you can get verified campaign updates, join rallies, and connect with other supporters to strengthen the movement,” he said.

According to the campaign, the app provides users with verified campaign news and official statements on the upcoming election.

One of its key features is Movement AI, an artificial intelligence assistant that allows users to ask campaign-related questions in multiple languages.

The platform also enables supporters to locate campaign rallies, receive notifications about upcoming events, and interact with other verified members through a moderated online community.

In addition, the app includes a peer-to-peer data-sharing feature that allows users to request internet data support from fellow supporters.

The campaign said the application also contains election-focused tools, including options to report alleged electoral malpractice, register as polling unit agents, and monitor live election result collation.
