A lawmaker in Imo state has tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 virus, POLITICS NIGERIA has learned.
The Chairman, Task Force on COVID-19 in Imo state, Professor Maurice Iwu, disclosed this during his weekly press briefing in Owerri.
The house of assembly member, according to Iwu, is currently in isolation with his wife, while tests have been directed to be conducted on all the state lawmakers. He, however, did not name the lawmaker.
